The Islamic Foundation Drogheda is centrally located at 34 Windmill Road, Drogheda, right next to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Our facility is designed to be a multi-functional hub that accommodates the spiritual, educational, and communal needs of the local Muslim population in County Louth.

Our primary prayer hall is a clean, fully carpeted, and peaceful space dedicated to the five daily congregational prayers and the weekly Friday Jumu'ah sermons.

Audio System: Equipped with a high-quality internal sound system ensuring the Khutbah (sermon) and Quranic recitation are clearly audible throughout the facility.

We are proud to provide a permanently reserved, completely separate, and comfortable prayer space for women. This section features its own dedicated entrance space, audio link to the main hall, and private facilities, ensuring comfort and privacy for our sisters attending daily prayers, Jumu'ah, or special lectures.

Ablution (Wudu) Facilities
Our facility includes separate, modern, and hygienic Wudu (washing) areas for brothers and sisters. These spaces are equipped with custom foot-washing basins and sensor based running (cold) water to allow attendees to comfortably perform their purification rituals before entering the prayer spaces.

During weekends, our facility transforms into an active learning center. We feature dedicated classroom setups equipped with whiteboards, seating, and structured educational materials where local youth attend classes to study Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic ethics.

Because our facility is located on a busy residential and hospital access route (Windmill Road), we kindly ask all attendees to be exceptionally mindful of our neighbors:
Do Not Block Access: Never double-park or block private driveways, footpaths, or emergency access lanes.
Use Public Parking: On high-capacity days like Friday Jumu'ah or during Ramadan, please utilize nearby legal municipal public parking spaces and walk the short distance to the Masjid.
Keep Entrances Clear: Ensure the front entrance gates and fire exits remain entirely unobstructed at all times.
